Look at it carefully. Either the button is tripped or not. If it is tripped, you need to wait until the tripped is properly suit in its place. While if it is not, that is mean that the electricity is not properly delivered to the machine. If this happened, ask for mechanical support.
- Garbage disposal is jammed
The garbage disposal is jammed often occur without you notice it. In return, you still hear the machine voice works yet the machine is not grinding properly. In this case, you need to look for the problem. Sometimes it is because a piece of bone or hard fruits that make your machine is not working properly.
Herewith If this happens, all you need is to turn off the power first. Then remove the disposal garbage flange and look at the thing that stuck to your disposal garbage. Remove it carefully and wash it in order to reuse it. Then put it back properly and turn on the power. So it will able to work the same as before.

Another problem that makes your garbage disposal not turning on is clogged. You can notice the clogged by the water does not want to absorb down. So it will stay and stand at the sink. Although this problem is not caused by your malfunction garbage disposal, the pipe or underneath it. However, it still gives bad effect to your garbage disposal.
So if this happened, all you need is drain the water first and turn off the power. Later you look for the pipe problem. Make sure to remove all the clogged things and you will run your garbage disposal normally.
- Garbage disposal leaks
Last but not least, your garbage disposal is leaking. This happens when you notice there is water leak below your disposal. Don’t panic! You just need to tighten the part of the leaks and see if the leaks are over. If it is still the same, you need to replace the drain gasket or the unit’s mounting.
Another possible occurrence is the unit makes some noise sound. This is might occur due to some of the unit part is not attached properly. Tighten everything.
